Transforming clinical data into certified operational tools to enhance physicians’ work: this is the core message delivered by Davide Dettori, CEO of Health Triage, during the second edition of the Tech Transfer Days held on May 5, 2026 at the CIM Innovation Hub in Ronchi (CN) – Polo Michelin Italiana S.p.A. The event, titled “Data, AI, Decisions: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Business”, explored how Deep Tech solutions can concretely support the competitiveness and efficiency of complex systems.
Health Triage S.p.A., a tech company incorporated in early 2020, controlled by Fin Posillipo S.p.A. (Gruppo Petrone) and with the participation of Fondazione ENEA Tech e Biomedical, is today Italy’s leading reference for the integration of certified algorithms into oncological diagnostic processes.
During the presentation, the proprietary technologies redefining the standard of prevention were showcased.
- BreastNegative: a software platform (CE MDR Class IIb Certified) developed to assist radiologists in mammographic screening. Acting as an intelligent triage system, it identifies negative exams with high accuracy (over 99% of cases), reducing the need for double human reading and optimising time and resources in favour of cases requiring real clinical investigation.
- Prostate V-Bio: a non-invasive virtual biopsy technology based on radiomic algorithms and AI. By analysing biparametric MRI, it estimates the aggressiveness of prostate cancer (Virtual Gleason Group), providing physicians with objective data for more informed decisions and reducing the physical impact on patients.
“Our vision is to develop technologies that make cancer prevention increasingly timely, accurate and truly accessible, concretely supporting clinicians’ work and enhancing their operational precision — without ever replacing their judgement,” concluded Davide Dettori.
