The transaction is part of a broader <strong>\u20ac10 million investment round<\/strong> aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies for <strong>early cancer diagnosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 2020 by Raffaele Petrone and Davide Dettori, Health Triage is based in Turin &#8211; in which the start-up successfully completed an incubation path in I3P, the Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino &#8211; and Pozzuoli (Naples). The company is a concrete example of high-impact technological innovation developed within the national territory, with a particular focus on supporting excellence in <strong>Southern Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Health Triage\u2019s technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The startup is currently developing two flagship solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BreastNegative.ai<\/strong> is a software platform designed to support radiologists in reading mammograms, enabling a more efficient management of breast cancer screening programs. Since over 99% of mammograms return negative results, the system acts as a \u201cfirst reader\u201d to prioritize the most relevant cases. When its reading aligns with the radiologist\u2019s, the second reading can be avoided\u2014cutting time and costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>VirtualBiopsy.ai<\/strong> is a cutting-edge technology for <strong>prostate cancer diagnosis<\/strong>, offering the first <strong>non-invasive virtual biopsy<\/strong>. Based on AI algorithms and radiomics, it provides a binary assessment of cancer presence and estimates tumor aggressiveness.
